Invitation to Bid - Electrical Contractor (Annual Labor and Equipment Agreement)

SCOPE
The Electrical Contractor’s scope of responsibilities shall include labor, tools, machinery, equipment, devices and services necessary to complete the specified electrical work for HCDC scheduled maintenance, and as needed emergency repairs during and after normal business hours. HCDC will supply all necessary material required through approved vendors for all projects.
Electrical Contractor shall have experience working in Bernard Bayou Industrial District and Long Beach Industrial Park, and must include a minimum of three (3) references. The ideal Electrical Contractor will have experience in:
- Water Wells
- Lift station control panels
- SCADA System – on call emergency service
- Pull & swap water and sewer pumps for cabinet work when needed
- Access to boom truck when needed
- Capability to retrofit dresser pump couplings
Electrical Contractor shall warranty all labor and works provided to HCDC.
Electrical Contractor must have a valid Certificate of Responsibility, Liability Insurance: Contractor shall maintain general liability insurance coverage, in an amount not less than $1,000,000.00 for start and duration of all projects.
This Agreement shall be for a term of one (1) year with option to renew for successive, one (1) year periods unless terminated by either party in accordance with this Agreement.

All interested Bidders should contact Gia Blackwell, HCDC Director, Utility Operations 228-896-5020 to register to receive any, if necessary, unforeseen amendments to this Invitation to Bid during the bidding process. Additional contract requirements and specifications if any will be made available for inspection at the HCDC office or by calling 228-896-5020. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all non-compliant bids.
Bids are scheduled to be opened the following day after last day of bid acceptance as per the Mississippi Procurement Law. Winning Bidder will be notified of award after review and approval by Commission.
All bids will be publicly opened and recorded at 9:00 a.m. CST, April 22, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST), HCDC office located at 12281 Intraplex Parkway, Gulfport, MS 39503.
