Recognizing Brian Gollott

The City of D'Iberville honored Brian Gollott for a lifetime of achievements and dedicated service to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, the evening celebrated a legacy built on hard work, leadership, and a deep commitment to community.

Brian’s impact extends across the region through his 20-plus years of service on the Harrison County Development Commission, Mississippi Coast Coliseum Commission, and other local initiatives, including the Wild American Shrimp Organization.

A third-generation co-owner of C.F. Gollott & Son Seafood, Inc., Brian began working on the docks as a young boy, helping grow the family business, founded in 1932, into a cornerstone of the Gulf Coast seafood industry, now led by a fourth generation that includes his daughter.

The celebration included Commissioner Frankie Castiglia Jr., Commissioner Teresa Wieck, Bobby Eluteras, D'Iberville Mayor Rusty Quave, Bill Lavers, Bill Holmes, Matt McDonald, Bobby Carter, Bobby Weaver, and the City of D'Iberville City Council.

Now retired, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and being on the water, but his legacy continues to shape the Gulf Coast. His life's work reflects a simple truth he's long believed: families succeed together - and that legacy endures.
