Water Advisories or Outages

  • DATE: November 17, 2025

A “BOIL WATER” advisory is in effect for residents and businesses in the address: 10280 Larkin Smith Drive. This action is necessary because the water system that supplies water to your area lost pressure at 6:30 am on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Public health policy dictates that if a water system loses pressure, it is considered contaminated until tests are performed in accordance with the health department procedures prove otherwise.

THEREFORE, THOUGH PRESSURE IS RESTORED, OFFICIALS RECOMMEND THAT RESIDENTS VIGOROUSLY BOIL WATER TO BE CONSUMED FOR ONE MINUTE PRIOR TO ITS CONSUMPTION AND TO CONTINUE THIS PRACTICE UNTIL THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY IS LIFTED.

As soon as pressure is restored, water system officials will begin collecting water samples for testing.

RESIDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN TESTS SHOW THE WATER IS SAFE. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE “BOIL WATER” ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2025.

If you have any questions, please contact Bill Lavers at 228-896-5020, ext 106.
